The scene of the quarry from The Prophecy is the next location on our trail of Robin of Sherwood. We headed to Flax Bourton to see what we could find.
We arrived in Flax Bourton, looking for the quarry and we most definitely found it. As it is owned exclusively by TARMAC, and activity there is always busy, we couldn't very well stroll on with our camera and tell the drivers of the trucks to say "Cheese!".
Obviously the main crew for the shoot headed into the quarry itself through the main gates, but Michael Praed and the others headed around the side to get to the top. There is an equestrian bridle path running along side the quarry with nice warning signs on ("If you hear a siren, dismount! Dynamite in use" or something to that effect.)

We didn't want to tresspass on TARMAC land and so having found the gate that they used to drive the other cast up to the top of the quarry, we called it a day here at Flax Bourton.
