Robin of Sherwood Brent Knoll

Sorry, folks, it's walking time again. Brent Knoll was a perfect location for the various, mysterious stone circles they used within the show. Parking up, we marched up to the top.

About half way up you'll be praying for divine intervention to make a ski lift materialise before your very eyes. Believe me, we did! Eventually, after a long walk up with the last 100 metres zapping whatever strength you have left, we got to the summit. And what a view!

How on earth they managed to get horses up here, let alone walk up in full costume (refering to the soldiers, of course, with heavy chainmail on) we can only guess. However, a little stroll around the top and you'll see which areas they used for Rhiannons Wheel in The Kings Fool and the Ring of the Nine Maidens in Time of the Wolf.

After several sit downs and marvelling at the view, we got our breath back and started the descent back to the parked car.
