The Robin of Sherwood crew came here for one location only: the fabulous cascade. We went down to pay it a visit.
You can hear the cascade long before you can see it. Take a walk through the grounds, from the ticket shop and make your way left of the lake on the path. It winds its way down a slope and then you'll hear it. There's an access path the takes you down to the cascade itself, and you'll recognise the scene.

The cascade isn't shelling as much water as it used to do but it is still instantly recognisable from the show. Obviously the little bridge Robin and Little John fought upon was put in for the show but you can still get to both sides of the cascade for any necessary 're-enactments' if you're possessed.
